The Banyan Scan & Ship is a value added extension available to all Banyan Gateway Standard and Banyan Gateway Advanced customers. Some of the main benefits of using the Banyan Scan & Ship are:

• Process Intelligence- This means that the picking and packing processes are "idiot proofed". By design the system will ensure that the right SKU's are packed in the right carton, the right carton's are on the right pallet and they are shipped to the right Distribution Centre(DC) or Store. Keeping in mind that the employee turnover is sometimes an issue in the shipping / logistics function, this is a big advantage for a supplier.
• Increased Shipping Accuracy- By receiving order information in a reliable and usable format at the point of picking and packing the goods Increase order accuracy by reducing manual data entry, thereby eliminating errors associated with item cross-referencing and generating ASNs and shipping labels.
• Out of the Box Compliance- Banyan Scan and Pack ensures compliance to the shipping and fulfillment processes for more than 500+ Retailers and Automobile OEM's and Manufacturing customers. This includes compliance for almost all shipping labels like SSC14, UCC128/GS1-128,MH10,QR and JIT labels



• Optional RFID Compliance- Banyan Scan and Pack ensures compliance to the RFID tagging guidelines for Wal-Mart, Target, DOD (Department of Defence) and some other retailers that have RFID tagging mandates. The RFID labels are also supplied by Banyan Commerce and all the hardware and consumables is sourced from Zebra technologies. Banyan Commerce works closely with standards bodies like GS1 and EPC Global. Banyan Commerce is a member of the strategic advisory council of EPC Global Canada/GS1 Canada. In addition to the 100% compliance guarantee, consultants from Banyan Commerce will also provide guidance to suppliers in terms of other requirements from these Retailers like registration of SKU's on their websites. Banyan Consultants will also liaison with GS1 and EPC Global to provide assistance with getting EPC company. Integrating EDI with RFID tagging is standard with Banyan Scan and Ship.

• The Scan and Ship application to be installed on a PC located in the fulfillment area or it can be shipped along with an approved PC from Banyan Commerce itself

  Laser printer options based on volume of labels printed
